The Black Death

The Black Death

The Black Death or Plague, spreads throughout Europe. In less than 20 years, the Plague kills an estimated one third of the population of Europe and Asia. Houses and shops are abandoned, the dying are left unattended in the streets, and the dead are buried in large trenches. Many flee to escape the Plague, but die instead of poverty or famine.
