Erasmus writes In Praise of Folly

Desiderius Erasmus of Rotterdam (c.1466-1536) known as the Prince of the Humanists, writes the popular essay In Praise of Folly. In it, he extolls humanist ideals and argues that many of the Catholic Church's current practices were based on superstition.
